1. What L2 Pearl Is

L2 Pearl is an independent, fan-operated Lineage II private server built on the Interlude chronicle. It is provided free of charge for entertainment purposes. L2 Pearl is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to NCSoft Corporation, NCSoft Interactive, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliates. "Lineage II" and all related names, characters, and assets are trademarks of NCSoft. They are referenced here solely to describe the game the server is built on. By using L2 Pearl you acknowledge that this is an unofficial, community-run project and not the official game service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you register. Staff will never ask you for your password. You must meet the minimum age required by the laws of your country to use online services of this kind; if you are a minor, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Acceptable Use

Using bots, macros, exploits, or third-party programs to gain an unfair advantage, trading accounts, items, or in-game currency for real money outside the official donation system, and abusive or disruptive behavior toward other players or staff are all prohibited. 4. Donations Are Voluntary Support, Not a Purchase

Donations to L2 Pearl are voluntary contributions toward covering server and development costs. They are not payments to NCSoft and are not associated with the official Lineage II service in any way. In-game perks, donation coins, or items granted in exchange for a donation exist only within L2 Pearl, have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged, resold, or redeemed for cash, and are not guaranteed to persist if the server is reset, discontinued, or if your account is closed for violating these Terms or the Server Rules. Donations are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as PayPal); your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies, which we do not control.

5. No Warranty, No Guarantee of Availability

L2 Pearl is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. As a hobby/community project, the server may experience downtime, data resets, balance changes, or feature changes at any time, with or without notice, and may be suspended or discontinued permanently at our discretion. We are not liable for any loss of characters, items, progress, or donations resulting from server issues, resets prior to or around launch, maintenance, or discontinuation of the service.

6. Enforcement & Termination

We may warn, suspend, or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms or the Server Rules, at our sole discretion, without prior notice and without obligation to compensate for any lost progress, items, or donations. Game masters' decisions on rule enforcement are final; disputes can be raised through our Discord server.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time as the project evolves. Continued use of L2 Pearl after a change is posted means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be announced through our Discord server or the site's News section.
