Server Rules
Last updated: 3 September 2026
These rules exist to keep L2 Pearl fair and enjoyable for everyone. They apply to every account, on every character. Not knowing a rule is not an excuse for breaking it — if you're unsure whether something is allowed, ask on Discord before doing it. These rules are part of our Terms of Service.
1. Fair Play
- No bots, macros, auto-clickers, or any third-party program that automates gameplay.
- No exploiting bugs or unintended mechanics for personal gain — report them on Discord instead. Knowingly abusing a bug is treated the same as cheating.
- No packet editing, memory editing, speed hacks, or any client/server manipulation.
2. Accounts & Boxing
- One account per person unless stated otherwise; box limits are 1 game login per PC, or 2 with VIP, as shown on the Server Specifications.
- Do not share your account or password with anyone, including other players who claim to be staff. Staff will never ask for your password.
- Character and clan names must not be offensive, impersonate staff, or impersonate another player.
3. Trading & Real-Money Trade (RMT)
- Buying or selling accounts, characters, items, or adena for real money outside the official donation system is strictly forbidden.
- Scamming another player in a trade is a bannable offense.
4. Conduct
- Treat other players and staff with basic respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and doxxing are never tolerated.
- No spamming chat, advertising other servers, or posting malicious links.
5. Enforcement
Depending on severity, violations may result in a warning, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban, at staff's discretion. Cheating, botting, exploiting, and RMT are treated as severe violations and typically result in an immediate permanent ban, with no refund or restoration of lost items, characters, or donation perks. Game master decisions on rule enforcement are final; if you believe a decision was made in error, you may open a ticket on our Discord server to have it reviewed.
6. Changes
Rates, mechanics, and these rules may be adjusted as the server evolves, especially around launch. We'll announce meaningful changes through Discord and the site's News section.
