The wait is almost over. The L2Pearl Open Beta starts on Friday, 2 October at 20:00 and stays open to everyone until the day before the Grand Opening on 9 October.

Account creation is open

From today you can create your website account and, from its dashboard, up to ten game accounts. The game accounts you create now are yours to keep: they are not deleted at the wipe, so you will be ready for the Grand Opening.

Launcher available now

The L2Pearl Launcher is available for download on the website. It installs the game, keeps it up to date and starts it with one click. Install it today so you are ready: the game server opens to players when the Open Beta starts.

What to expect in the beta

• Pearl Beta NPC: in every town. Set your level, change class, learn your skills and take any gear from D to S grade, so you can test whatever you like.
• Test everything: classes, skills, events and missions. If something looks wrong, report it on our Discord.
• Progress is wiped: beta characters and items are removed before the Grand Opening. Your game accounts stay.

Open Beta reward: an exclusive hat

Everyone who logs in to the game during the Open Beta receives an exclusive Open Beta Hat as a thank-you gift. You claim it from your website account after the Grand Opening, one per player.

Open Beta Finder event

The Finder event takes place during the Open Beta on Sunday, 4 October at 22:00 server time. A hostage is captured somewhere in the world: speak with the Event Manager to learn where it was seen, travel to that town, find the captor and defeat it within 20 minutes.

The party or players who defeat the captor receive an exclusive Open Beta Hat as a special reward. Be online before the event starts, and may the best hunters find the target first.

A busy week behind the scenes. Here is everything that changed on 26 September 2026.

Built for seasons

The server structure has been updated and prepared for a seasonal environment. Season 1 opens with the Grand Opening on 9 October 2026, Season 2 follows on 8 January 2027, and a few months later the seasons will be merged into one world.

What else is new

• New website and logo: a new L2Pearl website and a new logo are currently in development.
• Attendance check: the daily attendance rewards have been updated and tested.
• Open Beta event: an exclusive event has been added for the Open Beta, offering special skins to every player who takes part.
• Streamer role: a new Streamer role has been added on our Discord.
• Vote rewards: the vote rewards system is in development and will be ready before the Open Beta starts.

Two things to share: the calendar has shifted by a week, and L2 Pearl looks a little different today.

The new dates

• Open Beta — 2 October 2026. Open to everyone, right up to the day before launch. Progress will be wiped.
• Grand Opening — 9 October 2026. The real start. Fresh server, nothing carried over.

We moved them deliberately. The work is going well and we would rather use the extra week than open a server that is merely good enough.

Where development stands

Progress has been strong. The systems that shape day-to-day play are in place and behaving the way we want, and testing carries on daily — long sessions, full parties, the situations that only show up when a server is genuinely busy.

Everything will be ready in time. The extra week is there to make certain of it, not because anything is missing.

A new look

We have refreshed the L2 Pearl logo. Same pearl, same colours, drawn properly this time — a mark that holds up at any size, from a browser tab to a banner.

With the gates opening on 9 October, we wanted to give everyone a real look at where things stand — not just marketing copy, but what's actually been built and tested.

Stability & polish

The server has been through weeks of hands-on testing — long sessions, full parties and heavy load — so that everything behaves exactly as it should from the first minute you log in. That work carries on right up to launch day.

Rates & quests — tested thoroughly

We didn't just pick numbers and ship them. Several rate combinations were tried and compared before landing on what's live now, and we've gone through the quest list end to end to make sure everything triggers and rewards the way it should.

Our own files

L2 Pearl runs on PTS files we built and maintain ourselves, not generic public leaks. That means the systems you'll see at launch — buffs, shop, rates — are exactly as we configured them, not someone else's defaults.

The wait is over. L2 Pearl will open its gates on 9 October 2026 — a fresh Interlude realm with Classic GUI, built for players who want authentic progression, fair PvP, and a long-term home.

Launch day is a true fresh start. Every character begins from zero, the economy opens clean, and the first castle siege is scheduled for two weeks after opening.

There is no pay-to-win shop. Advantages are earned in-game. Live events will keep the world moving — TvT, Capture the Flag, Deathmatch, Olympiad, and weekly sieges — alongside dedicated anti-cheat and active GM oversight.
